The proposal consists on a projection of a large suspended volume of small height that defines an active front to the tontodromo (the university central walk in the axis north-south). The building is wrapped through a uniform skin of vertical fins which respond to different functions. Among them, the weather protection, the creation of a unitary image of the building and the flexibility of the interior spaces.
In the lowest levels of the building, such as the basement one, first floor and second floor offers transparency, porosity and accessibility, therefore allows an integration between the New Building for Humanities and the existing auditorium. This Strategy offers privacy as well as a sense of community in the campus life.
Finally, to integrate with the proportions and scale of its surroundings, the project unfolds on the territory with volumes between two and six floors. Thus, in the North side, the building frees the bottom space and reaches the three-level height. Furthermore, the center descends two floor heights offering an open terrace providing shadow in the summer. In the South side, in front of an extended green area, it attains six floor heights with a double-height space
