K+M ARQUITECTURA Y URBANISMO is a firm focused on works that challenge a range of scales, peculiarities of a site, requirements of program and the specifics of a target audience. Consequently, the firm understands each project as a new research opportunity and a potential catalyst for transformation in urban life.

Their partners Sharif S. Kahatt and Marta Morelli with a large experience in mixed use projects in USA, Middle East and Asia, decided to found K+M ARQUITECTURA Y URBANISMO towards 2010 in Lima, in order to develop projects that promote urbanity.

Since then, K+M is developing housing, office and cultural projects in different Peruvian cities. Additionally, K+M is a studio with a highly commitment on the development of culture. Therefore, the office participates continually on academic events, exhibitions and seminars in Peru and abroad. The office is a founder member of the Peruvian Association of Architecture Studios and their partners are accredited professionals by the US Green Building Council.
