TAMBO DE LIMA
Pucusana, Lima, 2011
Tambo de Lima is a private area with more than 30 hectares of Green spaces with all the facilities needed for Polo in 3 official courts. The club also offers the proper location for the practice of all equestrian sports and related activities. 35 plots within the club were allocated for the construction of weekend homes that offer views of the Polo courts.
Finally, the club also has stables and areas dedicated to the care of over 350 horses.
The site has a main entrance meant for the circulation of members and guests and a secondary circulation located near the services area, for the use of providers and animal mobilization. The services area hosts the administration, the living facilities for the maintenance personnel, and security offices.
The project will include de construction of 22 stables with 16 boxes each, a field for training horses, a manege, a training field for polo, paddocks, and other necessary elements for the proper horse care. To ameliorate the noise and contamination impact, a green barrier was proposed for the border shared with the Pucusana highway.
This green barrier will have high-density trees that will absorb traffic noise, occlude unwanted visuals and create a green frame that will mark a natural limit for this privileged landscape.
